About Sylvos
Unlike Mathias, I had two excellent examples for Sylvos - Seifer and Asuka. Sylvos suffers from a extremely overpowering superiority disorder, a result of the knowledge that he is the best there is. As I was brainstorming his character, it would of been so easy for his boastful, over-seering like nature to be a result of him being an elf and a protégé sorcerer. I decided against this, instead having his over superiority complex to be the result of a tragedy in his youth: the suicide of his mother. His attitude just everyone is just a method for him to feel secure enough about his past to continue to survive.
Sylvos- It is a rare breed for a sorcerer to be born into destitution. It is an even rarer breed for him to have such promise that the Council will have him bypass several years of training! Sylvos is that sorcerer: born into poverty, seekers (individuals who looked for young children of all races all over the world to be trained in either sorcery or wizardry) found discovered him at the young age of five, which was two years younger than most sorcerers or wizards were discovered. Sensing his strong will, they sent him to the Academy at Malrosin.
Sylvos did not take his protégé status with good graces, however. He is boastful, self centered, demanding, and refuses to believe that any mistake that occurs to him is his fault.
He is, after all, the best there is.
